Because our fellowship really is just a small group of inner-city neighbors, we are both open to and a little bit afraid of visitors learning to love with us. What we really like are handfuls of people who want to get to know us more than they want to help us…but who don’t mind helping us, either.

We usually ask visitors to help folks clean up or fix up their homes or to help us put together fun, educational activities for kids in the neighborhood. Saturday mornings and weekends usually work best for us. So does plenty of lead time, as we mostly have jobs and kids.
